The concept came about when Netherlands fashion icon Bas Kosters was asked by the Dutch Fashion Foundation and Bugaboo strollers to come up with a totally incomparable character for their new line. Given complete artistic license, Kosters, inspired by 1950s advertisements, give this aesthetic a modern twist and then took the idea back to Bugaboo. What resulted was the Bugaboo By Bas Kosters. There are only 1,000 in existence worldwide, so you know that your limited edition Bugaboo is as unique as you are.

Besides the exclusive design, the Bugaboo By Bas Kosters combines all of the features of the Bugaboo Cameleon-except the adjustable handle bar-and adds a wide range of accessories. The included sun canopy, bassinet fabric and under seat bag all carry Bas Kosters' signature design that you'll see on the reversible main carriage. What's more, a carry handle and easy folding mechanism make for convenient transport.

Also included are a matching footmuff, Aerosleep mattress, rain cover mosquito net and a matching parasol for added comfort. A maintenance kit and instructional video come with the package.The reversible seat and two-wheel position make three different modes for all sorts of terrain and comfort levels. The swivel wheels allow for total maneuverability while steering.

While the price tag may be prohibitive for some-in which case, you should take a look at the Cameleon, a similar model-the Bugaboo By Bas Kosters is truly one-of-a-kind, they're also extremely rare.
