      What is the warranty period?

The warranty period is two years, providing you have sent in your warranty card. You can send the warranty card in by mail, or register your warranty online. Keep your proof or purchase to ensure warranty validity.

What is the difference between the under seat bag, the diaper, and the transport bag?

    • Under seat bag: This bag hangs underneath the seat of the bassinet and is handy for shopping bags or any items you want to bring along. It is attached to the chassis between the wheel axles. In order to fold the chassis, the bag has to be empty. The under seat bag comes with the Bugaboo Gecko complete and the Bugaboo Cameleon complete strollers.
    • Diaper bag: This bag has a changing mat, compartments for diapers, wipes, and other amenities, as well as two insulated compartments to temporarily keep milk bottles warm or sippy cups cool. It can be purchased as an accessory.
    • Transport bag: This bag is specially designed to protect all folded Bugaboo strollers during transport. Great for those who frequently travel. It can be purchased as an accessory.

How do I attach the rain cover to the Bugaboo stroller?

The rain cover fits around both the bassinet and the seat. To provide adequate protection against the rain, the rain cover has to be placed tightly over the stroller. The black strip is attached at the foot of the stroller. When installing the rain cover, the top has to be placed over the hood of the stroller first. The sides of the rain cover drop down over the edge of the frame - they don't reach the bottom of the frame. This means that the carry handle will stick through the slit in the rain cover so you can still carry the bassinet/seat. Then, pull the cover towards the foot of the stroller and place the pins into the catches at the sides of the frame.

We want to take the Bugaboo stroller on the plane. How does it travel?

All Bugaboo strollers travel well, however, the procedure depends on the airline. Here are some options:

  • You can check it at the gate. Just ask for 2 gate-check tags (one for the seat/bassinet and one for the chassis). Then, wheel the Bugaboo stroller to the gate and, directly before you board the plane, remove the seat/bassinet and collapse the chassis. As a precautionary measure for protection from baggage handler damage, remove the wheels for the duration of the flight. Your stroller will be waiting for you at the gate when you get off the plane. Simply click the wheels back into place, put the seat/bassinet back on the chassis, and you're ready to go!
  • You can check it through as luggage. A Bugaboo Transport Bag is highly recommended if you choose this option.

Is the handlebar reversible?

Yes the handlebar is reversible. This allows you to easily switch between using the big wheels in the front for rough terrain or the small, swivel wheel for city use.

My child is very big, and I'm concerned that he won't be able to fit in the Bugaboo for very long.

The Bugaboo is suitable for babies and toddlers (from newborn to approximately 4 years). The bassinet will hold up to 19 lbs. and/or 28 inches, and the seat will hold up to 40 lbs.

Can you have the seat position assembled at the same time as the bassinet?

The Bugaboo complete comes with one frame. It is only a matter of changing the fabrics to assemble the desired position.

What is the black strap hanging from the handlebar?

This is a safety wrist strap. It should be attached to the wrist of the parent or the guardian as an additional safeguard while pushing the Bugaboo.

Does the rain cover and the sun canopy fit both the bassinet and the seat?

Yes.

How do I clean the fabric?

All Bugaboo fabrics are removable and machine washable at regular cycle, cold wash and line dry. However, make sure to remove all foam and wool parts of the seat.
