Our Review of the Bugaboo Gecko stroller

The Bugaboo Gecko teaches a lesson in simplicity, designed for families who require nothing less than one of the strongest, most maneuverable, most easily adaptable strollers available. And of course all three of these traits are instantly associated with the Bugaboo name. With a more streamlined, minimalist design than the Cameleon, the ultra-lightweight Gecko weighs in at a slim 18 pounds thanks to modern materials and daring feats of engineering seldom seen in a stroller.

Able to turn on a dime, the Gecko is ready for an afternoon stroll or an excursion your child's favorite toyshop. For extra control on wooded park trails, flip the handlebar and use the larger fixed wheels to navigate uneven patches. In a pinch, the Gecko's swivel wheels can lock into a fixed position for even more stability. These wheels also house a suspension mechanism which complements the frame's main suspension to create the smoothest ride possible for your little one. At the beach, in the city, indoors or out, the Gecko quickly converts and adapts to any setting.

Newborns will appreciate the Gecko's bassinet (complete with Bugaboo's cushy aerosleep mattress), which can be used on its own while your baby is visiting away from home. The Gecko's seat offers 3 positions for a personalized ride.
